Prized for its dusky purple foliage, award winning Purple Sage is a compact annual with strongly aromatic, oblong, purple young leaves delicately maturing to a silver grey. In early summer, it sends up whorls of lavender blue flowers on short, upright stems. Enjoying both ornamental and culinary qualities, Purple Sage is a favourite of many cooks and gardeners for its unique flavour and beautiful foliage. It is a great addition to the herb garden and also in perennial beds and borders. Grows up to 24″ high and wide.
