A popular culinary herb for its attractive foliage and flowers, Dill Diana, is an upright annual with feathery, aromatic foliage and attractive umbels of tiny yellow flowers in summer. The showy scented blossoms are followed by eliptical flat seeds. With a taste reminiscent of anise and parsley, the leaves may be dried or frozen for later use. However they have the best flavour when harvested fresh from the garden. Dill compliments soft cheeses, white sauces, egg dishes, seafood and chicken, salads, soups and vegetables dishes. Seeds should be harvested after the heads have dried on the plant. grows between 3 and 5 foot high.
