Prized for its large leaves, award winning Sage Berggarten is a sub-shrub with strongly aromatic silvery grey-green foliage. In summer it sends up whorls of pale-violet blue flowers on short, upright spikes. Enjoying both ornamental and culinary qualities this plant is great for the herb garden and also wonderful in perennial borders and cottage gardens. It grows up to 24″ high and wide. Leaves provide wonderful flavour to eggs, soups, meats, and gravies. Use leaves fresh, or dry and keep in an airtight container.
