Tradescantia Leonara more commonly known as Spiderwort is a tufted, clump-forming, evergreen perennial with branching stems bearing arching, narrowly lance-shaped, slightly fleshy, dark grey-green leaves and small clusters of maroon buds opening to three-petalled, deep violet-blue flowers from early summer to early autumn.

Grow in full sun (best) to partial shade, in moist but well drained or moisture retentive soil. Attracts butterflies to your garden. Grows to heights of 2 feet with a spread of 2 feet. Ideal for coastal gardens, beds and borders, informal and cottage style gardens.
