Phlox subulata Oakington Blue Eyes (creeping Phlox) is a delightful evergreen perennial smothered with with masses of large, starry, soft lavender coloured flowers which enthusiastically blanket the needle like foliage in mid to late spring. Vigorous, it forms a lovely flower carpet and adds splashes of colour for about 4 weeks. perfect for rocky areas, slopes and flower borders.
Plant in full sun, in well drained soil. Attracts butterflies to your garden. Deer, rabbit, drought and salt tolerant. Grows to heights of 6″ with a spread of 2 feet. Ideal for banks and slopes, beds and borders, edging and ground cover, underplanting roses and shrubs, and lawns.
