Phlox subulata Candy Stripe (creeping Phlox) is a delightful evergreen perennial smothered with with masses of bright rosy red flowers which enthusiastically blanket the dark green glossy foliage in mid to late spring. Vigorous, it forms a lovely cushion and adds splashes of colour for about 4 weeks. perfect for rocky areas, slopes nad flower borders.
Plant in full sun, in well drained soil. Attracts butterflies to your garden. Deer, rabbit, drought and salt tolerant. Grows to heights of 6″ with a spread of 2 feet. Ideal for banks and slopes, beds and borders, edging and ground cover, underplanting roses and shrubs, and lawns.
