The Mount Royal Plum is draped in clusters of beautiful fragrant white flowers along the branches in early spring before the leaves emerge. It has dark green foliage throughout the season. The pointy leaves turn yellow in autumn. The fruits are showy blue drupes carried in abundance which ripen in mid to late August and are excellent for eating fresh, cooking, baking and preserves. Flesh is tender, juicy and sweet. Mount Royal does not require another plum variety for pollination.
This product is a 2 year old tree – it comes as bare root stock and will require immediate planting upon receipt.
