Beautiful trumpet shaped flowers adorn this magnificent climbing plant. Growing to heights of 5ft it is ideally suited to growing against fences, trellis or posts. Flowers open in the morning and close by late afternoon. They can tolerate some shade but prefer full blazing sun. Being drought tolerant these are a great pick for cottagers or the lazy gardener! One of the best plants for attracting hummingbirds to your garden!

Planting & Growing

Heavenly Blue Morning Glory can also be grown as a houseplant, expected to grow to be about 7 feet tall at maturity, with a spread of 24 inches. It grows at a fast rate, and under ideal conditions can be expected to live for approximately 5 years. As a houseplant it requires direct sun for optimal performance, and should therefore be situated in a room that gets bright sunlight for a good part of the day; it is not a good choice for rooms lit only by artificial light. It does best in average to evenly moist soil, but will not tolerate standing water. The surface of the soil shouldn’t be allowed to dry out completely, and so you should expect to water this plant once or twice each week. It is not particular as to soil type or pH; an average potting soil should work just fine.
