The bold red flowers of Hemerocallis Chicago Apache will not leave you untouched. Funnel shaped, the rich scarlet flowers exhibit white midribs, and a golden green throat, beautifully contrasting with the black anthers. Slightly ruffled and recurved, each flower, up to 5″ wide (12cm), typically last no more than 24 hours (Hence the common name Daylily), opening up in the morning and withering at night, often replaced by another one on the same flower stalk the next day. This mid-season tetraploid daylily has a good bud count (up to 15 buds).

Grow in full sun to partial shade, in moist but well drained soil. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden. Grows to heights of 3 feet with a spread of 2 feet. Ideal for beds and borders, edging, ground cover, patio containers and planters
