Helenium Potter’s Wheel produces eye catching flowers, 2″ wide (5cm), with deep crimson-brown petals, each adorned with a thin golden-yellow edge. the petals are held flat, around a chocolate brown cone, which fades to yellow as the flower matures. Rather sparsely petalled, the blossoms are elegantly borne atop the foliage of oblong to lance-shaped, dark green leaves, and create an impressive display in the late summer garden. Excellent for cutting and adding to bouquets and arrangements.
Plant in full, in moist but well drained soil, attracts birds, butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden, deer and rabbit resistant. Grows to heights of 2 feet with a spread of 1-2 feet. Ideal for beds and borders, cottage and informal garden styles.
