Anemone St. Bridgid the Governor features satiny, scarlet red, poppy like flowers adorned with a dark button centre. Blooming in mid to late spring, they last for up to 4 weeks. Borne atop sturdy stems above clumps of finely divided, ferny leaves, they attract butterflies and make beautiful cut flowers. Ridiculously easy to grow, they thrive in sunny gardens where their broad, bright flowers are highly appealing and attractive. They grow to heights of 10″ with a spread of 9″. They are both deer and rabbit resistant and are ideal for beds, borders, patio and container planting.
