Anemone De Caen Sylphide features bright, violet pink, poppy like flowers adorned with a powdery dome of black stamens at their centre. Blooming in mid to late summer, this cultivar is quite prolific with up to 18 flowers per plant. Borne atop sturfy stems above clumps of finely divided, ferny leaves, they usually last up to 4 weeks and attract butterflies. Ridiculously easy to grow, they thrive in sunny gardens where their broad, bright faces are highly appealing. They grow to heights of 2 feet with a spread of 9″, make wonderful cut flowers and are deer and rabbit resistant. Perfect for beds, borders, gravel and rock gardens, cottage, informal, mediterranean and traditional gardens.
