Come and enjoy the peace and tranquility of our free Woodland Fairy Walk. Suitable for all ages! Look out for the wildlife that lives in our forest. Chipmunks, squirrels, and numerous woodland birds have been seen in the area.

Native Nova Scotian flora abounds throughout the year and in May our daffodils and bluebells pop up, adding cheery spring colour. Our bluebell wood will take a few years to naturalize but, in time, it will grow to fill the forest floor with a carpet of blue flowers! The walk includes an old spruce plantation, hardwood trees and areas covered in ferns. Take a short stroll along the waterside and and enjoy the peace of the forest.

In 2023, the forest became a home to a community of fairies! Children can see their houses along the walk and might even spot a few in the trees and among the flowers!

Please note that because it is a woodland there are areas that have roots that may trip some people up. We try to minimize this risk as much as possible but personal caution is advised.
